Know you have my sympathy at Bill’s death. One of my earliest memories is going on a hayride where William Dale and Charles Earl (as we called them then) had their beautiful girlfriends–whom they eventually married–with them. They were about sixteen and I was about 7. The handsome picture was a reminder.
